Recall to me ripe grapes upon
the vine
Gold-green pearls that hung
among wet leaves
We lingered there, both
unaware of time
Drops of rain, like warm
sweet summer kisses
Fell unseen between where
grape clusters hung
Can it be Cupid's bow never
misses?
Has my heart not heard love's
melody sung?
Yes, then destiny cannot be
denied
Silence spread after hearing
those words said
Transparent eyes showed that
our souls were tied
Like liquid your laughter
filled up my head
That drizzly day
only in distant dreams
When grapes glowed with
soft green light it seems
